Idle Summer
My mom said, "Son, now school is out,
What will
you do this summer?"
"Why, Mom," says I, "my plans are clear:
I'll hang out and get dumber.
"Hey, I worked
hard for nine long months,
Now it's time to have a ball.
I will not put my brain in gear
Till
the school bell rings next Fall."
